Unity Community Center second pollinator habitat

On April 23, 2026 work continued at the Unity Community Center that began last March with a planting on the west side of the main entrance. In partnership with with the Ohio Wesleyan greenhouse, NCOPP planted a new area along the southeast side of the center. NCOPP donated these plants and will add more as the greenhouse plants get mature. The planting crew consisted of students in Dr. Laurie Anderson’s plant adaptation to climate change course. A total of 200 plants for this project are housed in the OWU greenhouse.
