Thank you for your interest in having a native plant pollinator garden installed in your front yard in July, August or September, 2025! We are offering one 10’ x 6’ planting per month. Your name and information will be put in the hopper with all the other applications we receive between May 1 and June 20, 2025, with three sites to be drawn out at the Olentangy Riverfest on June 21 at Mingo Park at 4 p.m. You don’t have to be present to win. We will notify you via phone and email—and set up a date to confer with you about your area and the process of putting in your pollinator garden! -The NCOPP team
More details:
PLANT IT FORWARD
We only ask that each winner agree to “plant it forward” by helping out with other plantings and/or promoting native plants with your family, friends and neighbors!
WATER SOURCE
You will need to consider a water source and prepare to water the site for at least weeks after planting. We will give you some pointers for maintaining your area in the coming months & years.
PLANT & DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
Choices will be determined in conversation with you and with the nature of your land, plus weather and plant availability.
WAIVER FORM & DOCUMENTATION
In our first conversation, we will need to fill out a joint contract and liability waiver form. Additionally, we want to document the process—and share photos —so that others can learn from your experience.
